Cleaning the fountain:
The Lucky Kitty cat fountain is made of ceramic and has a glazed and high-fired surface. This makes it dishwasher-safe and extremely easy to clean, just like your crockery. Alternatively, the fountain can also be cleaned with a soft sponge and a detergent containing soap. Calcification is best treated with household vinegar or commercially available limescale remover. Please also refer to the instructions for use.

Cleaning the pump:
Your pump should be cleaned once a week. Also replace the silicone hose regularly to keep the water in the fountain germ-free. This will prolong the life of your pump and your cat will always have clean water. Please also refer to the instructions for use.
